The Work
F.C. Marrow's novels live where the dark things do. Wicker Hill, his first, is a psychological, lovecraftian horror novel that pushes the boundaries of trauma and transgression — and the opening move of a much larger story. Safe is a family drama wrapped in the skin of a zombie post-apocalypse, written for every parent who has ever fought to love and protect. When Man Becomes God reaches upward instead — 1950's alien invasion movies meet the existential dread of Lovecraft's cosmic indifference.
Different shelves, same marrow: character first, consequence always, and love hiding somewhere inside the horror.
The Craft
Before the books, Marrow spent years learning how things are made. A President's List student in art school with a top 1% standing, and a former teacher with a Teaching English as a Foreign Language degree, he became — somewhere along the way — a writer, musician, artist, content creator, and podcast host. The job title changes depending on the day, but it's all the same instinct: build something, and make it land.
That instinct is also why Marrow-House Publishing exists. After publishing his own novels, Marrow began helping other independent writers become published authors — editing, publishing, cover design, the whole road.
The Worlds
Eleven-year-old Marrow sat in front of a CRT playing Resident Evil and wanted one impossible thing: to be there. That want never left. Decades later it became MarrowMyth, his creative technology studio — home to the Materia engines, free-to-play worlds, and a growing shelf of tools and experiences. The blog here covers the writing; MarrowMyth is where the worlds live.
Beyond the Page
He's obsessed with anime, video games, music, horror, kpop (specifically), martial arts, and much, much more — and most of it eventually finds its way onto the blog, usually with strong opinions attached.
The martial arts part isn't a hobby credit. Marrow is a multiple-time Taekwondo World Champion, a two-time state champion, and a fifteen-time regional trophy holder, with black belts in Taekwondo and Judo and a blue belt in Brazilian jiu-jitsu — a lifelong practice that has shaped just about everything else in his life.
The kpop part isn't small, either. One look at the blog — or at a photo of his office — makes it clear this stopped being a hobby a long time ago and settled in as a lifestyle. Yes, that's a TWICE cap. He said what he said.
Marrow lives in Thailand with his wife and their two hateful cats, who want nothing to do with either of them.
TWICE for life. ONCE forever.
