Horror Podcasts on Youtube! The Morgue is Moving Along! A Self-Help Inspirational Book?

Horror Podcasts on Youtube!

If you follow me on any of my socials, you probably already know that Olivia Blair—my badass friend, and co-founder at Fanward—and I host a weekly podcast where we try to give the voice back to you, the audience.

Because let’s be real... in a world where every massive studio and AAA game company plays the victim while squeezing the life out of the very people keeping them alive, someone’s gotta shift the spotlight back where it belongs: on the fans, the creators, and the stories that actually matter to us.

This week—and next week, for part two—we’re diving into a topic that’s near and dear to my cold, cursed little heart. That’s right. We’re talkin’ horror, baby.

So head on over to the official Fanward YouTube channel to check out this week's episode, catch next week’s continuation, and keep an eye out for an upcoming special one... which might just happen to be about a certain 630-page horror epic I wrote. No big deal. Just a little nightmare of a novel, is all.

The Morgue is Moving Along!

Believe it or not, it's looking like The Morgue is going to be ready and published, and available to the public right in time for Halloween of this year!

Yeah, no joke! Fans of Wicker Hill won't have to wait long to find out what happens in the universe of the Wicker Anthology, as they will have the second book of the four book series in their hands and readable before the end of the year!

I've been re-reading what I have completed so far, and holy shit it is good (toot-toot). It is SO good. I'm enjoying it so much that I'm losing track of time every time I sit down to read it.

With even more emotionally resonant moments, more terror on a more intimate level and more eroticism on an even more intimate level, The Morgue is shaping up to be the intense, horror-heavy gutpunch of the entire series.

If Wicker Hill is the step into the water, then the Morgue is the hand that pulls you under.

You will have to wait a book or two more before you can actually come up for breath. But stay tuned! This is getting crazy, and I can't wait!

A Self-Help Inspirational Book?

Firstly… why?

Honestly, fair question.

But for someone like me—someone who’s lived through a rough stretch of life… depression, suicidal thoughts, divorce, loss, regret, bullying, betrayal, abuse, losing myself completely—and somehow managed to crawl out the other side, this felt like the exact book that needed to be written.

Yeah, it’s a bit outside my usual lane. But maybe that’s the point. The fact that it’s so different, and I still feel pulled to write it—that tells me I’m supposed to.

So I am.

The Sisyphus Complex is my attempt to tie the grind of real life to the ancient myth of Sisyphus—the guy cursed to push a boulder up a hill forever, only to watch it roll back down every time. But here’s the thing: he still pushes. Day after day. Whether it’s out of defiance, stubborn hope, or sheer willpower… he keeps going.

And don’t we all?

We fall, we break, we burn out—and yet we keep getting back up. Even knowing we’ll fall again. So how do we live with that struggle, instead of treating it like some enemy to conquer? How do we stop seeing it as punishment and start seeing it as proof that we’re alive?

Not “it is what it is.”

But: “I’ll do it. Because I can. Because I must.”

That’s what this book is about. Taking everything that feels pointless, painful, exhausting—and turning it into fuel.

If you’ve ever felt like you’re stuck at the bottom of the hill—I hope The Sisyphus Complex helps you find your footing again. Helps you stand up, take a breath… and start pushing.

Wicker Hill is FINALLY Available! So... What's Next?

Wicker Hill is FINALLY Available!

If you’ve been following me for any time at all, you already know that I finished Wicker Hill months ago—two and a half, maybe three months ago to be exact…

Well… I can now officially say that it is 100% completed and NOW AVAILABLE FOR PURCHASE! Both digitally and physically via my official website www.FCMarrow.com, and through Amazon and Barnes & Noble!

Earlier today, I received my final print proof copy, and people have already started buying their own physical copies through Amazon—and now you can too!

I don’t have to tell you how ridiculously proud I am of the final product. Knowing that I did all of the writing, all of the formatting, the front, spine, and back cover designs, all of the editing, all of the publishing—everything—all by myself only makes me even more proud to finally say: it is done.

The editing isn’t perfect, and there is a lot of room for improvement to pick up on things that tunnel vision missed, but I already have plans to work on a second edition sometime in the future. So if you want the original one, grab the 1st Edition now! These WILL BE LIMITED EDITION!

Thank you to everyone who has helped me and supported me on this journey—my wife Liu, Olivia, Bobby, David, David, my mom, my entire Fanward family, and so many others who knew how much this meant to me and never for a second said, “Give up. Do something better with your time.”

And for a final thanks, I want to thank Abigail—the kind of character that writers wish they could write. The kind of character that is so true to herself, she writes the story with your hands.

Thank you so much to everyone, and I hope you enjoy Wicker Hill.

So... What's Next?

So, I've mentioned The Morgue before. But with Wicker Hill officially complete and published and going out to the public, I am FINALLY ready to finish it.

Just during the time I was waiting for publishing, I reached the 50% point on the first sequel to Wicker Hill and the second book in The Wicker Anthology.

The Morgue throws Abigail into an all-new kind of horror, deepens the lore of this anthology, and really throws a wrench into everything Abigail and Asher know about life, love, family, and fear.

Stay tuned, because if Wicker Hill is the slow-burn terror, The Morgue is the high-intensity body horror, the uncovering of a mystery, and the first step to a new revelation.

Wicker Hill Update Coming Soon, The Cursed Ones Gets its Final Title

Wicker Hill Update Coming Soon

After what has genuinely felt like a small eternity, I’ve finally heard back from my publisher—and it looks like updates on Wicker Hill’s physical release should be coming within the next few weeks!

The process has taken much longer than I anticipated. Months, actually. Far beyond the timeline I originally planned for, and definitely long enough to throw a wrench into everything I had lined up after it. The delay ended up halting a lot of my forward movement on The Morgue (the second book in the series, already 50% done by the way), which has been frustrating—but not unexpected, given how publishing tends to go. Still, it’s been a test of patience.

The good news is that, despite the detours and drawn-out waiting game, things are finally shifting into motion. If all goes well—and God willing and the creek don’t rise—Wicker Hill will soon be more than just a file on my hard drive or a name in my head. It’ll be a real book. One with pages, a spine, and that new-book smell we all pretend not to love as much as we do.

I genuinely can’t wait to share it with readers. Holding the first physical copy will be surreal after how long this has taken, and I’m beyond ready to see it out in the world.

Thank you for hanging in there with me. Stay tuned—because very soon, Wicker Hill will finally be here.

The Cursed Ones Gets its Final Title

With publishing updates slowing to a trickle lately (the quiet before the storm, I hope), I’ve taken the opportunity to refocus some of my energy on another project that’s been quietly growing in the background. A dark urban fantasy world—something sprawling, ancient, and utterly steeped in shadow.

Originally, I’d been calling it The Cursed Ones—a working title that, in hindsight, never really sat right with me. It carried a weight I didn’t intend, a kind of condemnation that didn’t reflect the nuance I wanted for the supernatural beings who inhabit this world. Vampires, werewolves, sorcerers, demons, angels—yes, they’re dangerous. Yes, they’re powerful. But not all of them are cursed. Some are chosen. Some are haunted. And some are far more human than we’d like to admit.

So, the title changed. Or rather—the name of the world came into focus.

I’m calling it Marrowmyth.

There’s intention in that name. It echoes. It ties to bone and blood, to story and structure, to the hidden things passed down and buried deep. It also, if you know me, isn’t random—Marrow is more than just a word. It’s part of my name. It’s part of me. So yes, a little meta. Maybe a little self-indulgent. But it fits.

Marrowmyth isn’t just a story—it’s a whole mythos. A world parallel to ours, built on centuries of forgotten wars, broken pacts, bloodlines that never died, and horrors that wear human skin. It’s an enormous undertaking, and building it out—truly fleshing it into something living—has been both exhausting and exhilarating. There’s still much more to shape, but every day I spend in it reminds me why I started this in the first place.

So while things may be quiet on the publishing front for now, just know that behind the scenes, the bones are shifting. The myths are waking. And Marrowmyth is coming.

Stay close. There's more on the way.
